Oscar Hauptman, Chairman
Oscar is an educator, scholar, and writer, on
the Management of Technology and is currently Visiting
Professor of Technology and Operations Management at the
Singapore Management University.
As an executive, Oscar managed R&D, both
military and civilian, the latter as the CEO of an R&D
start-up. He was Managing Director, Galilee R&D Foundation,
in Israel. Formerly, he was an Industrial Development
Expert, United Nations, in Thailand.
Oscar has a PhD in Management from MIT's Sloan
School of Management and, previously taught at the
Harvard Business School. [more]

Jim Cook, Executive Director
Jim is a practitioner, having been an
engineer, manager, and entrepreneur in the high technology
fields of aerospace, information technology, and CAD/CAM.
Jim took his own high technology company
from his "kitchen table" to the NASDAQ. He was
also the VP, Technology, when Computervision was the world
leader in CAD/CAM and a Fortune 500 company.
Jim has a BS of Mathematics from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute and studied graduate mathematics at
MIT. He has been on Television advising on technology
investments, nuclear war, and for meeting Jiang Ze Min.

Roger Bohn, Member
Roger is a scholar, researcher, and educator
in the field of the management of engineering and other
knowledge-based activities in technology driven companies.
He has a Ph.D. in management
from MIT's Sloan School of Management. Currently, he is a
Professor at the Graduate School of International Relations
and Pacific Studies, University of California at San

John Friar, Member
John has researched and written on the subjects
of marketing strategy, management of innovation, and technology
strategy, with emphases on radical innovations and start-up
companies.
John has a Ph.D. in management
from MIT's Sloan School of Management. He has
taught at Clark, and Brandeis, Melbourne (Australia)
School of Business, and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et
Chaussees. Currently, he is a Professor and
Director, Center for Technological Entrepreneurship, College
of Business Administration, Northeastern University.

Ambassador Ni YaoLi, Member
Ambassador Ni is currently the
Executive Director, Association of Former Diplomats of China and
Former Minister-Counsellor to USA. Previously, Mr. Ni was
Consul-General (of China's Diplomatic Delegation to USA), Houston,
Texas.
Ambassador Ni was educated at the China Government's
University for Diplomats and at Tuft University's Fletcher School
of Diplomacy in Boston. [more]

Julie Zhang, Senior Consultant
Julie is our advisor and consultant on
intercultural and business (especially business development)
matters. She has experience in China (her native land),
India, and USA. She has also worked in the petrochemical, IT,
and aerospace industries. She built and ran a successful systems
integration business in China. She now resides in USA.
Julie received her Bachelor of
Mechanical Engineering degree from Beijing University of
Chemical Technology. She received her Masters of Business
Administration from Thunderbird, School of
